The winners of the M. Khanlarov Scholarship have been announced

The French-Azerbaijani University has identified the list of students who have been awarded the scholarship named after Movsum Bay Khanlarov for the current academic semester. A total of 21 students, studying at both the bachelor's and master's levels, have been honored with this scholarship.

The jury, comprising Unistra professors, carefully selected the recipients of the scholarship with the aim of motivating students and offering them financial aid. The scholarship has been awarded to students in each specialty who achieved the highest results during the 2022/2023 academic year.

In 1883, at the age of 26, Movsum Bey Khanlarov successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis at the Scientific Council of the University of Strasbourg (Unistra) and earned a doctorate in Chemical Sciences. Therefore, it is not a coincidence that UFAZ established a scholarship in 2019 in honor of Movsum Bay Khanlarov, the first Azerbaijani to receive a doctorate degree from Unistra.

The amount of the scholarship, named after Movsum Bay Khanlarov, consists of 130 AZN for bachelor students and 150 AZN for masters students. It will cover the duration from July 1, 2023, until January 1, 2024. The scholarship covers an academic year – semester? and is funded by the state budget. The execution of this scholarship does not preclude the right of a scholarship holder to receive other scholarships and grants provided by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
