Currently, Computer Science Research Department works on three main areas

• Evolutionary Algorithms
  Evolutionary algorithms are optimization techniques inspired by Darwin’s theory of biological evolution, described in his famous book On the Origin of Species, 1859.
• Machine Learning and Data Mining
  This research domain delves into the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence in various sectors, focusing on medical diagnosis, road quality and complex network analysis.
• Explainable and Ethical Artificial Intelligence
  This research domain focuses on developing Explainable AI by combining symbolic reasoning and machine learning to create powerful, transparent, and trustworthy systems.
